Impact in Action
Siloam’s programming was once limited to local, in-person activities. When the city of Philadelphia shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Siloam’s Executive Director, Sarina DiBianca saw an opportunity to bring them online. Today, Siloam receives around 100 referrals a month on the Findhelp platform from individuals and care navigators nationwide.

Creating a community of hope
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), approximately 1.2 million people in the U.S. have HIV, and about 13 percent of them don’t know it yet. The largest number of new HIV infections have been occurring among people aged 25-34.
Persistent stigma, discrimination, poverty, and other social factors continue to drive a significant disparity in diagnosis and treatment.
